The Best Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe Ever
This 30-minute buffalo chicken dip recipe is cheesy, flavorful, and loaded with shredded chicken. I had to make things easy since we were going camping, so I used 2 store-bought rotisserie chickens to save time but you can use canned chicken, or cooked chicken breast. Serve with crunchy celery and carrot sticks, crackers or tortilla chips. You can even make it in a sourdough bread bowl surrounded with the broken up top and the inside pieces.
This dip is Not… I repeat… Not, diet-friendly! It is loaded with cheese and homemade buffalo sauce. I also added a few tricks of my own with a drizzle of ranch dressing and green onion. Make sure if you use ranch or blue cheese, you use a good quality dressing. I am not a fan of blue cheese but please feel free to switch the ranch and even top it with fresh blue cheese crumbles. If I’m not making my own ranch, I love to use Litehouse Homestyle Ranch. It’s located in the refrigerated section by the produce at the grocery store. My husband is a ranch connoisseur haha. 😉
Chefie Tip- You can make this in advance and store it in the refrigerator until you are ready to pop it in the oven. Great time saver!
I’d also like to add that I cooked this over a camp grill and it came out perfect. Besides, who doesn’t like yummy outdoor camp food 😁. You can still get the same results in the oven too.
As you can see this was definitely a hit! I had 8 teenagers gobble it up in about 15 min. This was a nice filling appetizer, especially after a fun afternoon out on the lake.
Great camping memories surrounded by great friends and good food! I hope you love this recipe as much as we did!!
