Pumpkin Bread with a Pumpkin Streusel and Vanilla Glaze

A wonderful spiced pumpkin bread topped with a delicious streusel and glaze. It's incredibly delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1 1/3 Cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Tsp Cloves
  • 1/4 Tsp Allspice
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 Cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 Cup Melted butter

Pumpkin Spice Streusel

  • 1/2 Cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1/3 Cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp Pumpkin pie spice
  • Dash of salt
  • 4 Tbsp Melted butter

Vanilla Glaze

  • 4 Tbsp Powder Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Heavy cream
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • first mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl
  • next, mix all of the wet ingredients in another bowl and whisk until combined
  • Mix both dry and wet ingredients until you have a nice batter.
  • Pour batter into a parchment-lined loaf pan

Pumpkin Spice Streusel

  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, pumpkin pie spice.
  • Then add melted butter and then stir with a fork until crumbly.
  • Top loaf and bake at 350 for 50 minutes to 1 hour and 5 minutes depending on your oven

Vanilla Glaze

  • Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix until combined. If the glaze is too thick add a little more cream.
  • Add the glaze to the top of the loaf after it's put in the oven and cooled.
