Easy Flavorful Turkey Brine
A simple and flavorful turkey brine. Perfect year after year.

- 6 Cups Hot water
- 14 Cups Cold water
- 2 Cups Ice
- 2 Cups Kosher salt
- 1/2 Cup Tri color or black peppercorns
- 2 Oranges
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Purple onion
- 2 Green apples
- 1 bunch of Sage
- 1 bunch of Rosemary
- 3 Bay leaves
- 1 bunch of Thyme
- 4 Garlic cloves
Bring 6 cups of water to just below the boiling point, then add salt and your chosen seasonings. Stir until the salt is completely dissolved.
Next, add the remaining water, ice, and any additional ingredients to the brine bag.
Carefully place the turkey into the brine and refrigerate for 12 to 36 hours.
